Digital or Mechanical Bathroom Scales - which ones are more accurate?

DONT DO IT!

You will be on and off them ALL the time! I wish mine would break, so then I had to go pay boots 50p to know what I know already!

I think digital ones are probably more likely to break. Also without the dial you don't know how close you are between measurements if it's rounded rather than accurate. I wanted to get an idea of my DS' weight by stepping on with him and without him but couldn't as the scales don't go down to oz!

Mine are 11 years old now! They did cost around £70 new though!
