Calorie counting

I have started a calorie counting diet and was wondering if anyone could answer a question for me.

If I am having 1500 calories a day, and I do exercise do I have to then 'eat' these calories as well?

Thanks

try using www.food.focus.co.uk - it's a fab website where you register everything you eat (bit of a faff for the first few days but you store stuff in your favourites.)

You can then log different exercise and yes you get bonus cals if you wish, upping your daily allowence, you don't have to consume them though

Thanks, I am just getting so confused about the extra. Surely if I exercise then I am using those calories so wouldn't I need to then eat them to maintain a healthly level and lose the weight??

I'm so mixed up
