Slimming World - Post/meetings or online??

I've had baby no 2 who is now 14 weeks. I am going on holiday in 5 weeks and a bridesmaid at my sisters wedding in 10 weeks. I'm not that overweight but am struggling with motivation and the 8-10lbs I need to lose.

I spent the weekend with a friend who has been doing Slimming World - she seems to be doing pretty well and generally it seems like quite healthy eating.

I don't particularly want to do "meetings" and the location and timings don't work for me - would I be better doing online or postal - which works out cheaper? I quite like having something to "read" not on computer but I don't think you get any hard copy stuff if you do it online?

Only just seen your message! I go along to the meetings, but a colleague has joined online, cost about £60 I think, you do get information, and there is support on here for any questions you might have - may get better answers that from the Slimming World Support line too. He has lost a stone in about 4 weeks. You could always go along and join (about £10?) get the starter pack and then use the support on MN for any questions, if you don't want to go to meetings, but don' tell them I said so! I would be willing to find out anything you need to know, have been doing SW successfully for a couple of years. Good luck!
