A wii fit question

I am thinking about getting a wii fit, my only concern is that I will use it for a few weeks then it will gather dust. So for those of you who have one, do you use yours and if so how long have you used it for, and if you don't, how long did you use it for?

Another question, have you see any benefits from it.

Thanks

We use it sporadically, more in the winter than summer. I like the step class while watching tv too, but it's a very easy workout if you're reasonably fit already - probably works best if you have quite a lot of weight to lose or are very inactive to start as it's a gradual introduction to exercise.

My Wii personal trainer arrived yesterday, and that's great - me and the dds did a couple of group aerobics classes last night, which was a wheeze - needed quite a bit of space though and the dog was wondering what the hell was going on

Imo the trainer looks better than the Wii Fit for burning calories and getting fit as you can program in individual goals - mine is to have a flat stomach for the summer!

You don't need the balance board for the trainer, so it's cheaper too - I paid around £16.50 including postage from Amazon.

I've had mine for a couple of months and the novelty hasn't worn off yet. didn't really see much of a loss until I combined it with a strict low fat diet and a davina dvd early morning - have then lost 6lbs in two weeks, but feel this is down to teh eating plan and davinaing more than the wii fit.
