hiya, wow 4 and a half stone!!!! thats amazing!! i have been doing ww for nearly 4 months now, it is slow but managable. i have lost 16 and a half pounds. i am a size 20 and weigh 15st 13 and half. i have always been big but weigh more than i look. i have alot of muscle (dont want to sound liek a weight trainer!) but have always done a manual job so am quite strong!

i would ideally like to lose another 3 stone before the end of the year but will be trying for another baby in the next few months so there could be a flaw in the plan!

rachnja · 23/04/2009 19:20

thanks hun. well done with your weight loss your doin really well!! im the same i weigh more than what i look and go muscly when i work out. you hungry on the ww or u managing to stick to your points?

i am on 30 points to managing quite well on them. i will struggle when i get down to 18 or so.
i dont work out so i dont have that problem! but have muscely legs, they just have a layer of fat on them

I wouldnt mind popping in here for some support, if thats ok? Would like to lose about a stone and have decided that enoughs enough!

Started running last year and really enjoyed it but for various reasons stopped and dont think Ive been out at all this year. Im a bit too self conscious to do it myself but I am trying to overcome that. Think my main problem is motivation, I have a cross trainer and a stepper but cant remember the last time I used them....

Most evenings Im studying and during the day I have my children so finding the time is difficult, and I dont have the funds for any classes right now plus the times tend to clash etc

Want to tone up and sort my stomach out but situps must be the worst exercise out there. God I hate them!!

SIM78 · 27/04/2009 20:55

Hello Ladies
I am a mum of two a 3yrld and a 2yrl old. I weighed 9 1/2 stone before i got pregenant with both of them I know weigh 11 1/2 stone and cant seem to shift the weight of my stomach.
I would like to loose a stone and a half i if can. Been walking and doing some yoga and situps but feel like its a very very long road to get to where i want to be I get distracted and with both the kiddies i dont get any down time and am too knackered to exercise by the time they are in bed
desperate to tone up

Hello guys,
I have dd aged 20 months but I rally can;t blame pregnancy for weight gain. Have steadily gained since puberty and am now quite huge.

Was mega brave yesetrday and went to GP nurse and got weighed..... I m proud of myself as this seemed a scarey thing to do.

I am currently in my danger zone....... husband at work, my day off work, been on the go since 5.30 and eaten 'well' I.e have eaten according to low fat diet and should be full up. DD now asleep and I feel like I am going cold turkey... mmmmmmmm turkey.....

anyway.... am craving all sorts. But I am being STRONG!!!! I have the mind of a slim person. I am resisting.....

RESIST!!!

ANYway....really need support.
#I am inspired by you guys to try some sit ups.... Hey maybe when dd asleep on my days off [work 3/4 days] I could do some excercises instead....

mumblecrumble · 28/04/2009 15:26

Have found a workout DVD I baought years ago, have drawn curtains and am going to give it a bash....

mumblecrumble · 28/04/2009 15:29

Ok. So. Postman came to door. I opened it half underdressed, curtains drawn with sexy work out music in the background.

I think he thinks I'm watching p@rn....

mumblecrumble · 28/04/2009 15:38

Have done 5 minute warm up.

I am very warm.

dillinger · 29/04/2009 10:40

I made a cake yesterday slaps head BUT am off out for a walk in a bit, wont have a huge lunch and really keen to start running in the next few days, just gotta get the motivation together!

Should stick a pic of my back view on the fridge

Lizzylou · 29/04/2009 10:47

Can I join in?
rachnja, you've already done so well! 4.5 stone is fab!
lizandlulu, you too, 16lbs is great.
mumblecrumble, lol at postman thinking you were watching porn!
My boys are 5 and 3yrs old, so have no excuse. Last year I lost 2 stone by using Slimming world and running. Kept it off for about 6mths but holidays and darker nights meant I snacked and couldn't run as much.
I want to lose about 1 1/2 stone, I am 5ft 9" tall and built big, was out with friends last FRiday and looked like a man in drag compared to everyone else.
Have had fruit and yoghurt for breakfast and will go for a run in a wee while (work from home ).

rachnja · 30/04/2009 16:49

mumblecrumble · 30/04/2009 19:41

Could I put how much I'vew lost or gained rather than the actual amount? I think I might weigh as much as all of you put together and that would be

HOWEVER. I am being very good. I think 4 days of sticking to weight loss diet is my record....

HOWEVER.... Me and my hsuband are sat here hungry. We ate a good meal only an hour ago..... [fish and veg in a curry sauce with potato topping.... and lots of it!].

Is it possible that the sound from my tummy isn;t hunger but pounds and pounds of fat burning off?!?!?!?

rachnja · 01/05/2009 12:20

Rachnja, that is when I fall off the wagon, when the boys are in bed!
Had been doing really well, then we found an Easter egg that hadn't been eaten last night, it seemed rude not to eat it!

Just had a wholemeal pitta with salad for lunch and will have a healthy dinner.

Have ran twice this week and done an exercise DVD once, so not too bad.

Need to get slim for summer!!
