Trying to wind down bfing and really need to lose weight - but I am v emotionally attached to bfing. had a tough time getting started and now don't want to give up. Anyone tried MBT trainers for weight loss and found they were any good? I've gained lots around my middle, purely from eating like a horse, I guess because of bfing.

DD is 7mo so expect I'll stop feeding over next couple of months.

I've not tried them myself, too expensive! But have you seen these? www.amazon.co.uk/Skechers-Womens-Ups-Metabolize-11800-NVSL/dp/B001O0DP20/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1240 218891&sr=8-2 Not quite as expensive but the reviews are pretty good. HTH

I don't have any, but I pondered about buying some to lose baby weight. I suggested it to DH and he took to pointing out fat people wearing MBTs whenever we were out. I think he was right. They are worn by either very skinny people who work out a lot and hardly eat anything (so the MBTs are superfluous), or by fat people who are hoping that they will help. I lost the baby weight by buying a babybjorn baby carrier and walking five or six miles a day carrying DS wearing my bog standard nikes. It also saved on tube fare!
