Hi there

Is anyone on a protein diet??

If so, is there a website that lists foods that are ok to eat and in what quantities and also forbidden foods too (aside from carbs!)

thanks

do you mean an atkins approach?

I tried this for a while and it does work, but i didnt feel it was very healthy, so maybe there is a better protein option out there. I really really missed fruit on atkins.

i would imagine it is complex carbs you ahve to avoid. So chicken, lean meat, fish, eggs and veggies?

There are loads of protien diets atm. The Southbeach and Atkins being the most popular/well-known.

You are allowed to eat different things on each one. So there would be different banned foods for each one.

Generally you are allowed to eat so many grams of carbs per day. It's 21 on Atkins and more on the Southbeach.

It doesn't have to be vastly unhealthy. You can eat salads/veg/some fruits. It's mainly the induction phases that are very limited.
