I'm jumping the gun a little as bump isn't even here yet! He's due TODAY!!! and after he arrives i plan to breastfeed and i want to join SW.

I have lost weight twice with SW, the last time being nearly two stone just before our fab holiday to Rhodes last June (when i ahem fell pg ). Therefore i need to start all over again and would like to join as soon as possible, we've moved a month ago so i'll be attending a new class and thought it would be a great way to socialise and get out of the house aswell as lose weight for this years holiday.

Only thing is i'm sure you can do the plan when bfeeding and that it's not an issue - anybody know for sure?

Thanks Becs

I think there is a special BF plan with more healthy extras

I wouldn't start until at least 6 weeks though

BabyG is 4 months oldand I STILL haven't started! If I try to cut down, I feel knackered (he's a big boy who has a LOT of feeds )

Just go with the flow and don't be too hard on yourself. If you do decide to do it, go to group and get the proper plan

Almost certain you can have an extra HE B choice per day. I'm bf'ing and on SW. Have to admit I've not really been bothering with the extra HE though ! SW is good because you can eat so much. You are even allowed to do SW while pregnant because it is healthy eating and not restrictive.
Good lck ! I've lost 1 stone 10lbs since end of Nov

Ooh well done Snotty McGrotty!

Just need my little man to make his appearance, settle in and away i go to class!

I love the SW plan - have done it twice before and i know you can eat so much food and lose weight so seems perfect!

When i had dd - i tried bfeeding, but failed after 3 weeks (no hlep blah blah), anyway i just remember the MW and HV insisting i ate full fat everything and puddings galore (which i nev er eat)

Thanks xx

I am doing it and I am 35 weeks pregnant! I am going to carry on while breastfeeding too. I am not officially joined though and I think some groups insist on waiting till after your 6 week check. Nothing to stop you doing it at home though - they are just covering themselves.

One thing though - I thought it was HE A we were allowed an extra one of? I am doing extra easy? I might have been doing it wrong! I haven't often eaten 2 HEas though but would like to know if I can have another HA B as I struggle with just one.
