Do you think you can ever use food to control how you feel in a good way?

Sorry if this question offends anyone, it seems to me that we are all obsessed with eating the right things and losing weight/gaining weight/being perfect, when does that cross the line from being concerned about your health and expecting a slimmer healthier you to be happier/more succesful in life to being an unhealthy obbession which is controlling you.
Is this something that we are all at risk of or does getting older mean that these risks go away?

I think there's a big difference between eating healthily in a general way, and the way some people get obsessed about every morsel that passes their lips - if food is ruling your life (whether it's eating cream buns or counting calories) then it's a problem. I don't think age makes much of a difference TBH, there's now a generation of older people who are still determined to keep "age" at bay.
