Is Slimfast any good?

I gave birth 5 weeks ago by ECS and i'm now thinking of dieting. I am quite a fussy eater so normal diets are no good for me (I don't like 'healthy' food)

Was thinking of trying Slim Fast and wanted some advice. Has anyone had any success with it? Is it like crash dieting and soon as you stop the diet do you put weight back on? Is it all too expensive and not much good?

From my experience you will lose weight pretty quickly, but it doesn't teach you to retrain you eating habits, so you will put on weight once you stop.

It also leaves you feeling hungry. Especially the milkshakes as you fee you have had nothing to eat.

Weightwatchers points system is good. YOu can eat what you want untill you run out of points. It helps you learn to make better choices about food and has a 'maintenance' plan to keep the weight off.

I thought of weight watchers but am unable to go any meetings. How do i find out how many points certain foods are? Can it be done online?

yeah you do weightwatchers at home. It's not cheap though but probably works out cheaper than slimfast in the end.

I lost loads with ww after dd1. It's really easy once you get used to it. online info for ww at home

Thanks for that. I will have a look at that and hopefully be a size 10 soon
