I lost 2 stone last year with SW. Switched to WW this Jan for last stone and god it's been hard, am sick of weighing everything am switching back this week, I've lost 6lbs in 5 weeks which is not bad but compared to SW is slow. At least with sw you are never hungry and can eat like a horse if the mood takes you.

SW seems confusing at first, but honestly after a few days you get used to it then it becomes second nature. Try it

I love it. I love being able to eat and eat and still lose weight. Lost 4.5 stone doing it a few years ago, and am back on it now. Have lost 9lbs in the first three weeks.

it was great for me at first but it soon got boring because i cant cook, it was chicken and veg every night.
If you can make interesting meals then it does work.

I felt like I tried every diet going, lost some with WW, but it didn't stay off, and I just hated counting up points and finding I had none left when I was hungry. I joined SW when I was so horrified by my holiday pictures, and lost 3 stone, which after a year at target is still off, give or take a couple of pounds. It took me 18 months because I cheated from time to time, but others in the magazine usually have lost lots in a much shorter time, while eating loads of 'free' food! I can only say it worked for me, I was never hungry and if I needed to nibble something there are loads of really nice 'free' bits to have, or 'syns' which I don't find hard to count up. The recipes are easy, especially egg and chips, prawn curry and a Chinese duck thing, from the mag. Like Four Arms says,I too just love it. Like any diet, it will only work if your head is in the right place about it. I was really determined to succeed, before I was 50! Good luck, give it a try!

I lost 2 1/2 stone on sw last year. Hit target last April but have put on around 1/2 stone since. Am going to rejoin on Thursday morning as that extra 7lb is the difference between me being a 12 and a 14.
