Can someone tell me about Weight Watchers Online please?

A friend of mine is doing WW face to face and I've been going through all the stuff she has to refer to and can take with her. It looks good.

Time (or lack of) dictates that if I am to do WW then it has to be online, but do you still get sent all the stuff to help you watch points whilst you're out and about (e.g. calculator and eating out guides)?

If you buy the ww magazine it'll tell you all you get in there, tis quite a bit I believe.

sorry I do have the magazine, am off to bed now but will go and get it and post whats included first thing in the morning

right - at home kit contains. Your personal weight loss file that contains all the material that you will need to kick your weight loss off to a great start including -

fast start
food in full
a handy food list so you can start losing weight straight away

An essential pack containing your shopping guide, eating out guide and journal plus a pen and a £5 off a points kitchen scale voucher

A points calculator so you can calculate the points values in any packaged food and track your daily points vaules through the week.

That one is £59.95

then there is a premium at home kit which contains all the above plus

A points pedometer, delicious - a wonderful cookbook filled with recipes to help you follow the plan with 150 recipes and 3 months subscription to WW mag.

thats £89.95 - and IMHO is not worth the extra £30 as you can buy the extras for much much less than that

If you are interested I've nabbed a pack of WW carrot Cakes (scrummy) out the cupboard which has a £10 off code 4-16-263-17495 before 31st march 2009

After allllll that, realised it's not online but at home - for online look here

sorru me again! - that code from the cake is for ww online, not at home

Pennies · 11/02/2009 10:05

Furball - you're a star. I shall do the At Home version! Thank you so much!

Pennies - just had a thought - it may be worth joining a group (free at the moment) getting the blurb then buggering off and doing it at home. It just seems sooo expensive for the home kit, which you get most of when you join a group for free.

most of the WW site is free and there are loads of other sites for recipes etc.

Ah. Just read your post and bought it this morning! Oh well, never mind.

I signed up for the free online trial but it is hard because you've got no immediate reference point if you're not at home and you want to know what you're eating. I think I'll ditch it when the trial period is over.
