yesterday I had two pieces of toast with marmite and butter, banana, 8 blocks chocolate, two digestives, two slices toast with mayo and ham, apple, two twix strips, 2 glasses squash, huge helping oven chips done with olive oil, 3 egg omelette with ratatouille, ham and feta, bottle of wine, glass milk and another twix.

needless to say i hate myself.

just needed to get that off my chest and my stomach which is resting on my lap.

I am definitely a comfort eater and I eat out of habit! Cannot even blame totm for yesterday's (rather normal!!! ) eating.

help.....

Sounds like me I lost 4st for my wedding and i reckon i have put 2 back on. I cannot stop pigging out. Every day i get fatter. I am going on holiday in April and have a suitcase of beautiful size 10/12 clothes which i can't wear. If i don't lose weight i have literally nothing to wear for my hols. Will cost me a fortune to buy new stuff.

It's cold, I have tried going back to juicing but I am too cold to want anything other than stodge and comfort food.
I have upped my exercise but the scales were not happy reading this morning

DH keeps telling me that i will find it easier in the warmer weather to eat lighter foods. I agree but my hols are in April so i can't wait for the warmer weather ffs.

I started back a WW, last tuesday, couldnt get to meeting last night as snowed in, and was soooooooooo tempted to say, bugger it and eat the contents of the frisge, but actually managed to restrain myself.

come join me at WW No.4

Numberfour · 04/02/2009 11:30

Hi, Shoshe
I decided to post under my usual name as a self induced Name and Shame attempt! I am an online WW member so will join in today again.

aGal, 4 st loss is brilliant! Hope you manage to get sorted for your April holiday, lucky you.

Lizzylou, I like my food too much to do a juicing diet. Not for me at all . I have considered cancelling my gym membership but today I think I may reactivate it again, and reactivate me!

I am considering starting the atkins diet next week. has anyone tried it?

Numberfour · 04/02/2009 13:01

i followed the Idiot Proof Diet last year in March quite well (also v low carbs, high fat, high protein) but I found my moods were awful. I was very very irritable and miserable. I lost 8lb in a week but then I did not drink any alcohol!!!

I would not do a high protein again - though to be fair I am currently on a high protein, high fat, high carbohydrate and high alcohol diet

I did Atkins. I actually found it really easy and lost loads on it. I was only able to do it the once, I lost pregnancy weight after ds on it but when it came to losing weight after dd I just couldn't face it. I think it is a once only diet for me.

Thing that worked for me is eating anything except processed white flour goods - doughnuts, bread, cakes, cereals, biscuits etc. Change bread to granary etc. Still eat potatoes etc and allow myself a couple of squares of chocolate a day. Lost all my baby weight after dd like that and kept it off.
