best way to lose weight at gym

i have joined the gym recently and have being going a lot i want to lose about 2 stone i am not what anyone would call hugh but do carry weight ize 12/14.

i have lost abouut 7 lbs but seemed to put a few on i am concerned that it is turning to muscle.

i went to gym every day this week and last and sometimes twice or say a class and then the gym.

i want to make sure i am doing the right thing to lose weight first i am not going any weights just cardio.

any help weclomed

Gym is great to tone up and get fit, but most weight loss is achieved through changes to diet. Sounds like you're overdoing it a bit in the gym? I would say for most people, that would either be too difficult to sustain and they would stop bothering to go at all (burn out/all or nothing), or that other issues are driving an extreme approach. Anyhows, have some rest days

well i have taken yesterday and today off due to work commitments, i am enjoying it at the minute but know what ur saying

as far as my diet is concerned i have cut out all the crap and am sticking to low carbs
