I'm thinking of going to a Paul Mckenna weight loss seminar on 24th January. They're offering buy one ticket get one free at the moment, so I'm looking for someone who's also interested in going so we can team up and split the cost...anyone fancy it?

Wow thats a lot of money! I was going to say i would go if it wasn't so soon as i couldn't leave my bf baby at home and he doesn't fit in my handbag anymore
but to be honest i couldn't afford it even at half the price!

seekarn · 07/01/2009 22:04

I hope you manage to get some money back Dalek, and i'd love to hear how the day goes for you. Hope I can find someone to come along with me to make it more affordable.

Wow - that's £££££££££££

Sorry, I would love to go, but not at that price. That buys me an awful lot of cream cakes !

Of course the big question is whether lunch is thrown in or not.... arf, arf.

I an up for this I think - will need to check my diary when I get home - I have used hypnotism before (gave up smoking easily this way) so am pretty open to this kind of stuff.

seekarn - cat me and we can discuss.

seekarn · 08/01/2009 23:46

Squiffy - not sure what "cat me" means, sorry! I'm new to mumsnet so please excuse. I'm going to call the Paul Mckenna people tomorrow to find out if the offer is still on, and will message again here tomorrow evening.

i watched the tv program "i can make you thin"whilst eating...loads

Squiffy · 09/01/2009 09:58

seekarn - on the lilac name line identifying the date and name of every post you will see a yellow envelope icon. If you click the envelope (NOT the red exclamation mark) then you can then send a private email to that person - that is what 'cat me' means on mumsnet.

It might only work once you have paid your annual £5 subs to Mumsnet - try and see - I cannot at the moment send you a CAT but you might be able to send one to me. If not, you will need to post your contact details on the board which is not ideal for you (or you could pay the fee)...

Anyway, I am on for this if it is Half Price (£150?), diary looking OK for that date.

seekarn · 13/01/2009 23:34

It seems that they're no longer offering 2 for 1 on the tickets, I just got an email back from them (finally) saying they can only now offer 10% off.....so I'm not going as it's too expensive, but thanks for your messages.
