Was going to register but was put off when I read the bit in terms and conditions that said it was free but they could start charging whenever and you were bound by it to pay. Did i read it right? It didn't say how much they would charge either.

ChirpyGirl · 07/01/2009 21:26

I have registered as they diont have my card details so would be hard pressed to 'make' us pay.
I love the exercise options - walking carrying toddler is a good one and
childcare - sitting/kneeling or
childcare standing
excellent!

Theirmum · 07/01/2009 21:40

SK yes I am REALLY BLOODY FAT!!

I am 23 stone 8 lbs When I get depressed I est A LOT I had my DS 8 months ago and have been suffering from PND in which time I have but on 4 stone thats on top of baby weight! I put on 6 stone being pregnant!

Theirmum · 07/01/2009 21:41

the scale only goes up to 20stone 10lbs I have joined at that and have emailed them to say really fat people would find their website useful too!

StepfordKnife · 07/01/2009 21:42

I can't understand why they won't let you join though....

Have you seen your GP? - perhaps you can be referred to a dietitian / counsellor etc

I personally believe in food addiction and think it's a syndrome or illness for which professional help may be required.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 07/01/2009 21:42

Well done you, I think if they have just started that it would be good for them to know.

Theirmum · 07/01/2009 21:45

Sk as I said their scale only goes up to 20 stone 10lbs I completely agree about the food addiction its no different from drugs or alcohol! I know its not good for me I know what to eat I also know I need to excercise but when your depressed its hard work but i need to lose it so I will The same thing happened when I had my DS1 I went up to 25 stone from 14 stone and I lost it all its a hard slog but I will do it again!

I am absolutely loving this - I had a look at the terms and conditions but couldn't see about charging, but agree, that they have no credit card details so how could they? Also, if it was less than £10 a month, i would be happy to pay as really like the site and how it inculded everything. I also saw at the bottom that it was started in 2007 so 2 years FOC is pretty good going.

I have 1785 calories a day. I have over 5 stone to lose. This will be 1st November if I keep on track

I find it really helps to weight everything as portion control is definately my problem. However, am not hungry on it which to me is more about lifestyle change rather than deprivation! Also really like the fact that nothing is banned....shall we start a new thread for those that are following it so we can support each other???

FiveGoMadInDorset · 08/01/2009 09:59

Good idea DM about the thread, what I like about it is that you can keep an eye on what you are eating all day and make adjustments whenever you need it.
