Would anyone be able to help me come up with some meals to eat on slimming world?

I started slimming world a few weeks back and lost 4 1/2 lbs. I haven't been in a fortnight and wont be able to go again untill after christmas because of childcare arrangements.
I need meals that are easy to cook, cheep, warming and suitable for a 17 month old and a 6 month old.

Im finding it quite hard to lose any weight atm so thought I would try a new tactic of planning my meals out as then I will know what to cook each evening and feel i will be less likely to cheat.

Any suggestions would be very welcome.

Hi spooky charlotte, I was on rosemary conley which was just calorie controlled really, not sure if you need something with low carbohydrate or anything but here is a meal I used to make myself;

Pork loin steaks with mediterranean veg;
This is v easy if you are working all day, all you need to do is put your loin steaks in tupperware in the fridge the morning when you go to work with some balsamic vinegar, honey, and a tiny bit of a spoonful of lazy chillies (get them at supermarket in a jar last for ages).
When ready to cook you can fry with a bit of fry spray and roast cherry tomatoes, chestnut mushrooms, chunks of red onion and peppers in the oven. The tomatoes burst and coat the other veg so it doesnt get too dry, takes about 15 mins in a fan assisted at 200. Voila, and if you are looking to add extra cals for your kiddies you can serve with a wee bit of pasta with spinach and parmesan mixed in, no need to precook the spinach if it is baby spinach.

Got loads more if you are interested let me know.

I like green days best:
Jacket spud with batchlors pasta on top is a quick fix and also filling.
Home made chips (par boiled then oven cooked with fry light) beans and fried egg.
Veg roast dinner or with chicken from healthy extra.
A full breakfast beans, egg, potatoes, grilled tom, veg sos.
Pinacolada's shepards pie can also be made with celeric on top.
Your on the right track tough. The only way i can stick to plan is to make a meal planner for the week then shop to it and stick to it.

Good luck, just think how fab you'll look at christmas!!! Hang a dress up that is just one size smaller than you. Thats a great reward!!!
