hi i have been on xenical for 5 weeks now, i was skeptical about this drug at first and didn't know if it was going to work.
I am 4 ft 11 and a bmi of 34.8, i had my first weigh in last week at the doctors and to my surprise lost 4kg in a month.
it is a good drug but i don't like some of the side effects.
My stomach bubbles all the time and i poo fat at am alarming rate even though i stick to a good diet.
All in all i think it is worth it as the weight is coming off. I had tried lots of different diet and they didn't work but this does work it is just a little odd to get used to

Very common response to Xenical - it causes fat malabsorption so causes poo to become fatty and greasy. That's why people stop taking it. By keeping the fat in your diet down to the minimum you will minimise the sdie-effects. Can cuase poor absorption of fat-soluble vitamins as well though.
