well you can now get a feel for how it works Ria and tbh sounds like its working in a similar way to mine as well if your not hungry!..listen to your stomache and while you dont fancy things try to abstain, if it lasts a while you will get used to eating less..good luck chick..off to library/park now.xxx

jaz236 · 29/10/2008 16:13

Pink can i ask how you got to 18st?? cant beieve that you are 13st 13lb - i am impressed very very much!!

countPINKCHICKula · 29/10/2008 16:36

not 18, nearly 17 though so not much diff..in the 13 years ive been with dp we've just eat out, got takeaways, bought huuuge family bars of choc and eaten ourselves...im..or rather i used to be very very greedy!...is till can be!, just stop before i know i will be majorly dissapointed!

I still eat out, have takeaways and choc now, just not as much/as often and choose better with meals when i can, i prefer tasty things now and unlike before i dont just choose the biggest ting on the menu!

i love cereal so if im not feeling that hungry at meal times, ill have abowl of that to fill the gap.
i dont drink unless occasion so dont have prob adding wine/lager to my list of things to cut out

i lost a lot when pg as well, and went from 16 st 3lbs while pg down to 14st 11 5 days afterwards!!!..but obv once the pg sickness stopped the food/comfort cravings kicked back in, combined with PND, i basically ate for england!

SummatAnNowt · 29/10/2008 17:05

Well done peeps!!!

I've been away because I've stalled, but not put any one so that's a bonus! Back down to it now!

jaz236 · 29/10/2008 17:25

im going to start eating cereal to fill the gap as its a much more healthy option! You go girl pink im impressed!!

countPINKCHICKula · 29/10/2008 18:22

thanks chick..cereal for me is shredies, cheerios, branflakes, weetabix, porridge or special K, i dont go for sugary ones, never have, but also eat the ones i like instead of tasteles cardboard LOL..find cheerios are quite sweet and i lost my most weight whilst snacking on those!..ill see if i can find a really fat bad pic of me and a more recent one to show you 'I' think i look different, i certainly feel it, although havent done as well as ags and the rest of them on here

countPINKCHICKula · 29/10/2008 20:43

WOW i listed my fabuloso monsoon dress on ebay yesterday for a fiver..it was over £100 new and i only wore it once for friends wedding..as its 22 sadly i cant wear it again..thought i might get a fiver for it, would leave it in paypal and spend it nearer xmas, but ithas 5 + days to go and have 13 bids!..its up to nearly £20 at min!..woohoo...why the hell have i just taken 2 black bags of my too big clothes to charity shop!!

RiallyEeRiaee · 29/10/2008 22:15

I like it when that happens pink. I got £30 for my biker jacket I only paid £15-20, but it's "vintage".

RiallyEeRiaee · 29/10/2008 22:15

RiallyEeRiaee · 30/10/2008 09:55

I sold something last night for £5 that I bought on ebay last year for less than £1. Sometimes I love ebay (and sometimes I hate it). I am hoping to get at least some of the DCs xmas pressies with "recycled money". So far I have bought DS3s trike, and am looking at Animal Crossing for DS1 and I'm not sure ehat for DS2 - I change my mind daily!

Have a good day. raining here.

RiallyEeRiaee · 30/10/2008 09:56

BTW I naughtily made fish & chips (from the freezer) for me and DH last night (he had beenout all day catering a wedding) and I haven't exploded yet

RGPargy · 30/10/2008 10:52

Hi everyone

WB summatandnowt. Well done Pink, that's great about your weight!

Still haven't joined a gym yet but yesterday i went to look at one next door to my work and they could do me a non-contract membership for £55! I thought that was pretty good really considering that it's normally £69 for non-contract. The 12 month contract is also £55 so i think i'm going to go for the non-contract option so that if things get tough, i can just give them a month's notice without any hassle (hopefully!).

Anyone been watching Dead Set? I think it's very good but i'm gutted that it's on 35 mins per episode. The first episode on Monday was an hour so i was really disappointed when the second episode finished after half an hour lol.

Have a nice day everyone.

jaz236 · 30/10/2008 13:20

Toooo scared to watch dead set im afraid hun, adn not liking all thses horror films on at the mo! My hubbie loves it!! and he loves ebay!!

RGPargy · 30/10/2008 19:55

lol it's really not that scarey! I really enjoyed Saw I and Saw II recently too. I wonder when Saw III is on?!

RiallyEeRiaee · 30/10/2008 20:16

don't like scary stuff

RGPargy · 30/10/2008 20:22

I wouldn't say it's scarey tho!! I hate horror films because they really bore me these days (too much watching them in my teens i reckon), but the Saw films i would say are more like thrillers and Dead Set isn't really gory, just the odd cringe now and then because of a noise really.

countPINKCHICKula · 30/10/2008 20:26

hate horror but i thought dead set was just tedious gore on monday!!??
how have you been after the fish n chips ria??.hmm..if you ahevnt been to loo at all, id keep an eye and make sure they 'are' having the desired effect..are yous till not very hungry?..maybe theyve switched to reductil in the packet??

Hey RG, that sounds good, although still pricy to me, but your in london arent you??
it was about £60 for a couples member ship(with one months notice anytime) at our local and very swish jjb gym..we filled in all forms, had tour..then dp said something twatty about my weight(which was unusual) so i told him to feck off and didnt go back (made him feel like a tw*t as i said if he says things like that and he's my dp, why would i go to a gym were peple i dont know would think it too!..yes he felt like a heel!..but now i weigh less than him (embarrassing still or what!) so in your face! LOL

off for a nice soak now, then katy and peter ..dont know why i still watch this!!!

xxx

RGPargy · 30/10/2008 20:34

It's still a little pricey, but it's because the gym is in London. I live in Kent and the Kent gyms are cheaper but i work in London so it makes more sense to join a London gym.

countPINKCHICKula · 30/10/2008 20:36

ah well, seeing as tho you're loaded go for it..no seriously, i would love to despite my body shape saying the opposite i do like excersizing, just never seem to get round to it/have enough money/spare time/too busy eating chocolate..hope you enjoy it chick.x

RiallyEeRiaee · 30/10/2008 20:40

I am beginning to wonder if they're not for me. You would expect fish & chips to "do" something. And I enjoyed then so I expected to suffer. Wonder if my man-flu is affecting them. For tea we had sausage casserole and I ate less than DS2 & 3 ate each. Am pleased though that they're both feeling better to eat so much.

RGPargy · 30/10/2008 20:59

Pink - lol @ loaded!! Far from it!! Massive mortgage puts an end to any kind of money spending we'd like to do!

Ria - I think i found that they didn't do too much either and that's why i stopped taking them. Have a word with the doc first tho and see what she says. Glad the DCs are feeling better and eating again.

Oh i forgot to say - i bought a pair of trousers today - from NEXT!!!! They actually had a pair of black cords, size 22 in stock and they FITTED ME! I also tried on a couple of their tops but they were a little on the snug side and they only go up to a size 20 in tops. But it did give me inspiration to actually get cracking at the gym because i'm sooooo close to being able to shop in there, or any other shop that sells a 20 (other than Evans!) in fact!!

Yay me!

jaz236 · 30/10/2008 21:05

yep, i was in next tday with shopping trolley and bambino sat snug in trolley and i knocked over the stand of baby boy clothes - apologised but i bet they were seething ha!!

well i ended up having salad tnite and a chicken leg as stooooooooooooooooooooopid baby wouldnt eat it so i scoffed the lot!! Im now drinking wine!!
