Have you cut out all evil snacks and empty calories?

I have been having a light tea with the kids around 5 / 6pm and leaving it at that (was eating again with DP at 8 /9) and that is starting to make a difference. Its slow but slow is best as I'm hoping when its gone it stays off!

Is there a local Weight Watchers meeting near you? If you're not sure you can have a look here.

Most people lose at least 3lbs in their first week (I lost 6lbs the first time I joined). The points plan is easy to follow and not at all restrictive. You can eat anything you like, within reason of course. For example, if you want a kebab for dinner you can have one. The points value of all foods is listed for you and you have to stay within a certain amount of points each day. Your points total is worked out according to your weight, height and lifestyle. I hope I'm not making it sound complicated because it really isn't.

I can have 18 points a day but I weigh about 9 stone. On a typical day I'll have a boiled egg (1.5points) and toast (1point per slice depending on the bread. Weight Watchers bread is less points). A baked potato is 3points and a small tin of beans is 2.5points. A Weight Watchers ready meal is a handy quick to make dinner and they vary in points and are anything from 4points to 7.5points. That leaves me a few points for snacks.

You could easily lose that couple of stone before Christmas!
