NHS weight loss referral Xyla or Gro Health?

Following my annual review, the GP has referred me to a 12 week weight loss plan. I have to choose between Xyla or Gro Health.

I am struggling to find reviews online - has anyone had experience with either of these please?

It may be helpful to compare the support and guidance offered by both programmes and hear about others’ experiences before making your decision.

Thank you @BetweenTheThoughts - I have tried to find others experiences but am struggling. There seem to be lots of medical review papers but not actual user reviews, certainly not recently.

The NHS referral does offer a comparison and I’m leaning towards the Gro Health plan but would love to read reviews/experience from anyone who has actually used it.

I've used Xyla for their Preventing Diabetes programme (also referred by the NHS) and it's been pretty good. I'd assume there's a bit of a crossover in material and methods? There was a lot of stuff that I knew but wasn't actually doing, and going on the programme meant I did do it, as the regular meetings helped with accountability. I did do the meetings in person most of the time, and found the online ones which I was offered when I couldn't make a meeting not nearly as good, so that might be an issue?

@Nothungrycat thats useful to know, thank you - both are online only though, no in person meetings for either.

I think I just need to plump for one and go for it. And make sure I leave feedback whichever one I go for!
