Turned 40 last year and I’m finding it IMPOSSIBLE to lose weight! I’m dieting, active (15,000 steps a day), running, lifting but barely able to lose a few lbs. I used to have no trouble shedding half a stone in a few weeks. I lost 3 stone over 10 months after my last baby aged 37.
Is this life now? I know everyone says metabolism slows at a certain age but it seems to have happened overnight. Worried there is something wrong with me so keen to hear other people’s thoughts!!

Are you sure your not snacking on something here and there I do this and when I look at the calories in shocked. But I can't stop snacking.

Diet is more important than exercise for losing weight because it is much easier to reduce calorie intake than to burn off those same calories through physical activity.
