Has anyone done this? Thinking of starting in September as I need to lose about 5kg but also just want to feel better in general.

I will have to google this because the title sounds somewhat cannibalistic to me.

safe to say that no, I have not tried it. Most diets are scams imo anyway. (Prioritising protein, fibre and tracking your food intake does work ime however.)

I agree! I have never been on a diet before but this one appeals as it is a diet more in the sense of "way of eating ". The first 16 days are restrictive but after that it is about prioritising nutrition. I have tried to do this in a bit of a haphazard way without much luck and the post-menopausal weight keeps on piling on.

The only diet that keeps my large weight loss off is the no UPF diet.
Additives and processed food pile the weight on. As soon as I gave it up for natural home cooked food I stopped piling on the pounds. I dont cheat. If I need something sweet Ill bake a sugar free cake using organic minimally processed flour.
Its an absolute game changer and not difficult to do. Keep it simple.

These diets work simply by restricting your calorie intake. If you want to follow a set plan then great but you can achieve exactly the same results by eating all the foods you love and calorie counting. Which imo is one of the best ways to loose weight as you learning about foods and have a better understanding of which foods/portions have helped with the weight gain to begin with.

Just looked it up and it sounds quite restrictive and also says don't eat anything for 5 hours inbetween meals. Not sure that'd work in my life but good luck! I hope it works for you.

Bloke’s wife at work did this and lost masses of weight. Only diet she’s ever been on (apparently) where she managed to lose the weight and keep it off. She really enjoyed it.
