How’s your Mounjaro heatwave been?

I know people are really suffering with the heat. I’ve really suffered in the past.

my side effect on Mounjaro is I feel cold. For the first time in my life I’ve been cool & cold, for 2 years I guess.

im also carrying a lot less bioprene - having to wear more clothes to keep warm.

this year the heatwave has been bliss. I’ve felt lovely & warm for weeks. Not hot, not cold, just lovely. I’ve really enjoyed this change. I’ll be back to being cold before too long.

im off to the Adriatic tomorrow and I’m interested to see if I do better with the heat there than I usually would.

yes it's brilliant. I'm in another country, it's been over 35 degrees most of the summer, I am finding it quite pleasant.

I’ve felt fine. It’s my first summer in years where I’ve worn lovely light tops and dresses instead of trying to hide myself in black tents!

I’m on holiday & it’s 30+.

apart from the odd hot flush 😫 I’m loving the heat.

and no thigh rubbing and chafing either.

Ive never had any side effects until recently. Im titrating down to a maintenance dose as Ive reached my goal weight.
Im on 7.5 at the moment. Never went over 10mgs.
Then last week I forgot Id taken my 7.5mgs (middle aged brain) and took a second dose.
I had ghe shits for a week and lost 5 pounds. Ive never felt so ill.
Thank goodness its worn off now. Never do that its horrible 😑

I still found the heat unpleasant. Having said that I chose to go to Sicily where it was 40 degrees and managed to deal with it. Couldn't have done that a few years ago.
