hi

im mainly a lurker on mumsnet but i'm curious about people's experience on wegovy. the pharmacist i spoke to earlier said that tablet form has just come out, a daily tablet with a 30 day supply is £129. he said to me that following a calorie controlled diet plus exercise is part of it all as well. my bmi is currently 35 and i'm only 4'11 so i do need to lose weight. i just dont know if trying to find that amount of money a month would be worth it. it's a lot of money to me but if it would really help then i could afford it i think, at least fairly short term. ive also thought of weight watchers, i followed their guidelines years ago and did lose some weight but put it back on over the years. my heads a bit all over the place with all this which probably comes across in this post. i know everyone is different and no one can really tell me whats best i wouldnt think and each person will react different to wegovy but if anyone has any experience of it or any thoughts in general i would be grateful.

Have a look at the specific Weight Loss Injections/Treatments board where there are loads of threads about the recent Wegovy tablets.

Also, £129 for the first month is really expensive! Have a look at this price comparison site for the Wegovy tablets:

https://ogovy.co.uk/

With a new customer discount some places are doing the first month for as little as £50. The following months would be more expensive but still not as much as £129. Plus you can change online pharmacy each month to use another new customer discount.
