I’m 5’8 and 10 stone. I try to hit my 10000 steps a day and succeed 5/7. I do a few cardio sessions a week usually, but I’ve got a lot of soft stomach fat. It’s not loose skin, but I’ve got an overhang / rolls of fat and it’s really getting me down. Any advice would be very gratefully received.

The stomach area is the hardest to lose weight from, and sometimes it will never be possible to lose it all.

Have you lost a lot of weight recently?

What’s your sugar intake like?

It’s taken me over two years, but 3 Pilates sessions a week (2 x Stotts and 1 x Reformer) has really helped with this. You have to work hard in the classes and be consistent.

Stomach area fat is the hardest to lose. Have u got checked up for insulin resistance or cortisol or any other hormone imbalance?

Building muscle in the area might help with the look of your stomach. Stomach fat will only go the same way any fat does and that’s with a calorie deficit. Some areas however can be incredibly stubborn and need things like liposuction.

Are you female? Have you had a child at some point?

It might be separated stomach muscles, and there are special exercises you can find on YouTube. It worked for me.
