Trying a very low calorie diet - any interest?

I'm doing this bloody New You plan and I hope to lose some weight on it because I'm tired of being rotund!

Currently, 11.14 stone and want to get down to 8 stone. For the record, I'm 5'2".

I don't know if anyone is interested in hearing about the progress of this thing but, if you are, let me know and I'll try to update each day.

Any success or fails on this, or a similar plan, would be nice to read/discuss.

No one else I know is doing this so it would be nice to hear from others.

I've thought about WLI but I have read a lot of research that says VLCD (very low calorie diets) work faster so I'm going to see how this goes. Think this and WLI are similar price.

This better work because I have about 20 weeks of 'food' I just bought in and today is Day 1!

Just a warning I did this a long time ago and I basically ended up binging all the weight back on. I’m not saying it won’t work (I’m probably quite weak willed) but you will find your body rebels at some point. You could do a mid point thing like 5:2 diet which may be more sustainable over time. I wish you luck either way!

Oh that's interesting but also too bad to hear @Bringemout !!

I don't want to go through all of this only to regain? I have read that people tend to regain, regardless of their diet method, so I don't know if this will be any worse or better than alternate methods.

Thanks for the luck! I will probably need it - ha! x
