Hi, can't see any recent threads about this. Anyone using it? Does it work? Thanks

I have used it twice, once years and years ago over the counter when it first came out, and more recently prescription strength via GP.

Both times practically zero effect (except the terrible side effects) and no more weight loss as far as I could see than dieting alone.

I ended up knocking it on the head and went for WLI instead, and have lost 7 stone.

However my understanding is that it doesn’t work for everyone, you may have more luck than me. Hopefully someone will come along with some positive stories.

Well I started this in February as an experiment - it was errrr fun. I did not gain any weight 👏🙄😆🫣

I did not lose weight either.

First 6 weeks was bliss. Every single atom of oil I ate came out in Orange liquid when I went to the loo. Refreshing to realize oil/fat was not being absorbed. I wasnt phased about all the negative comments I read. I wasnt having any 'incidents'.

It worked as it said it would.

Until it didn’t 😩😩😩

Now I can’t even fart without tablespoons of oil coming out. Staining my underwear down to my clothing 🤣😆😢😩

This experiment is over!!

Xenical will ensure you do NOT gain weight but The side effects can be vey embarassing...

A friend of mine shat herself whilst filling her car up with petrol - and she had pressed to pay at the kiosk

Leaky bowels .. need I say more 🙈.. Mounjaro, 9 stone lost from Obese type 2 (BMI 39) to healthy bmi 22. Maintain on 5 mg same weight +/- 2kg for 18 months.

I tried it about 15yrs ago. Same as the others, it can have terrible side effects. It did show me which foods were fattier than others, but I don't actually recall losing any weight!

IF you are prepared to wear a giant incontinence pad 24hrs a day, you can rest assured than any fart or oil leakage will be captured. Try it and see OP, but personally, I'd never use it again 😬

I’ve lost 30lb on it slowly in nearly a year. You do have to keep to the fat instructions. It’s took ages but Ive got fibro and menopause plus other things so I’m actually really pleased at the amount.
