I need to lose 20 lbs.

I'm going to join a club locally.

Which is best? Any thoughts?

Never given WW a go, but when I looked online and read both their literature I prefered the thought of SW.. it hasn't failed me.

SmugColditz · 19/06/2008 21:57

I go to Weight Watchers and lost 28lb in 6 months.

Have done both and both have been successful.

WW - loose weight quicker but it is a diet, felt hungry alot of the time. Classes good.

SW - a much easier healthy eating plan, slower weight loss, awful classes (can't stand all the clapping) but over all I prefer it.

Depends what your issue is too - if you hate the thought of weighing your food but can deal with having only very healthy food, SW might be better for you - I personally don't mind weighing an egg if it means I can have a small packet of crisps with my sandwich.

I admit I am sometimes hungry on Weight Watchers. But it's a diet, and to lose weight you have to create a calorie deficit in some way. If I am hungry it is usually a sign that I have made bad food choices that day and not chosen bulky enough food.
