Has anyone used Metabolaid supplements for appetite control and weight loss?

I badly need to lose weight for health reasons, and in desperation have just ordered a 3 month subscription of these supplements from a reputable company. I have metabolic syndrome/insulin resistance, which makes weight loss harder, I get so hungry. I'm hoping they help regulate my appetite, improve satiety and thus eat less and decrease snacking. The reviews are variable. I'd be really interested to hear from anyone who's tried them, and if they did help how long was it before they started to work?

I have just received some Dr Vegan weight management support supplements. How did you get on with yours?

I started mine this week… have lost a couple of lbs so far. Finding that my appetite is reduced and pairing that with healthier choices because I really want to see results!

OP please consult your doctor before starting these.
I don’t know what is in them, but know that metabolic syndrome / insulin resistance is not something to mess around with.
Please wait until a proper medically qualified person can check them versus your condition.

Sorry for the late reply, I've just seen your post. I bought Metabolic Thrive from Future You Cambridge. I'm finding that they're helping somewhat. I'd say I've noticed a reduced appetite and increased satiety levels in the region of about 15-20%. Apparently they can take up to 3 months to take full effect, I've been taking them for two months now. I'll have a think about reordering them in a couple of weeks (I bought a 3 month supply) but I've only lost a few pounds so far so am doubtful that I will.

That's great, I'm pleased they're helping. I think in your case they've kicked in sooner than they usually do. I haven't noticed much difference after two months of taking them unfortunately, though apparently they can take up to three months to become fully effective. I have a slightly reduced appetite and increased satiety, but certainly not as much as I'd hoped.

Thanks for your concern, which I genuinely mean. Unfortunately I haven't had any help from my GP, I was just told to lose weight, eat healthily and exercise, which I obviously already knew. They generally have little knowledge of anything outside drugs or surgery, and have nothing to offer me, hence trying these supplements. They have been thoroughly researched for years, and I bought them from a reputable company, so I don't think I'm taking much of a risk by trying them.

Yes, I was very surprised to have had such a quick response to them. My appetite is greatly reduced. I’m down 5lb so far - sorry to hear that you haven’t experienced the same effect yet 🙁! Have you been doing anything else different? The only thing I’ve been doing is trying to walk more.

HotTiredDog · 11/06/2026 21:35

@OnDaysLikeThese I’m glad you’ve done your research, best wishes with your new approach & please keep us updated x

So when your metabolic syndrome was diagnosed, what was the outcome, what was the next step?
