Just got off the scales and I have now hit the 11 stone lost mark. Got another couple to go, I never thought I'd be able to do it.

And no jabs involved

Well done, although I’m not sure what relevance jabs has to do with it?

happysnail12 · 27/03/2026 07:06

Wow! 11 stone that is an amazing achievement! Congratulations 🥳

SilenceInside · 27/03/2026 07:38

I suppose everyone assumes nowadays. I have had a few people ask or say "you're on the jabs I suppose"

Well done OP, you must feel so good at having achieved this! Wishing you the best for the remaining few.
I am at the start of a weight loss journey - weighed 17st 10lb, but have lost 8lbs in the last few weeks, it’s been hard but I’ve been determined to walk more and eat healthier.

Ok, but what difference does it make? It’s the end goal and becoming healthy thays important.

SilenceInside · 27/03/2026 07:51

@Baggiesfan what are you favourite/best non-scale victories?

Girlintheframe · 27/03/2026 07:57

Well done 👏

I think it does make a difference on here though because there is a separate WLI board and separate guidance and when people lose weight with WLI there are considerations they need to make if they later stop taking them.

I suppose what you're alluding to is that some people think of the WLIs as an "easy" option. I'm not sure if that was the intent of the OP and it's not really fair to hypothesise in the intent but I personally don't. Keeping weight off is hard however you lose it.

Baggiesfan · 27/03/2026 08:23

In what way?

I honestly had no intent of anything with mentioning the jabs. I am fully aware they aren't the easy option.

So, since I've lost 11st, I have rediscovered an interest in fashion, well style really as my particular look is not a fashion look. I have also started to actually enjoy exercise and now run regularly. Things like that, as well as the scale victories of hitting specific weight loss targets.
