Weighing yoursen every day and being disapointed

I've become a bit obsessed with my weight loss as I only have 7lbs to lose now.

Thing is I have started weighing myself every morning and I feel depressed if the weight hasn't changed over night.

I weighed myself on Sunday morning for instance and I was 10st 8lbs meaning I'd lost a lb since I last checked (a few days before) however I weighed myself again yesterday and I was 10st 9 1/2 how have I put a pound and a half on over night? and then I weighed myself this morning and I'm still 10st 9 1/2.

Is it because I'm weighing myself too much? does your weight go up and down during the week hence why you're only supposed to weigh yourself once a fortnight or whatever?

Your weight will be all over the place, I personally can shit 2lb by skipping breakfast and going to the loo before weigh in.

Do it once a week, at a set time, on a set day.

why the scale lies

This was linked over on the 10 years younger thread and it's very interesting and reassuring!

Thanks Fanella, that is a fantastic article for me, a confirmed scales obsessive! I hope you don't mind that I post a link to it on another weight loss thread that I regularily post on. There are a few of us there!!!
