Why is this so hard?

I only need to lose a stone and a half but I’ve been trying to lose this for about 3 years. Why is eating less so hard?? My friends have lost weight on MJ and it feels so unfair that I’m struggling. I’m not eligible as my BMI is 26. I think I have a huge problem with sugar and snacking. The minute I get in from work I think ‘reward’ and two bags of crisps and a Kit Kat later and im cooking dinner only to have a sweet treat after dinner!

You’re thinking about it the wrong way. You don’t need to eat less food, you just need to cut down on the sugar and ultra processed crap. The more you eat, the more you will crave it.

Crips and Kitkats are not food, it’s manufactured chemical crap that you are addicted to. Give your body real food.

You need to change your way of thinking about rewards and sweet treats. Have veggies and fruit already cut up in your fridge and snack on them, work towards thinking differently about food. You could sign up for noom, its a psychological weight loss program that works out why you eat the way you eat and retrains your brain to think about food differently and eat better and you dont have to quit your snacks you just eat them in moderation.

If you plan right you can actually eat way more and still loose weight. Dieting doesn’t mean eating less it means picking lower calorie food to fill up on. Volume wise you eat loads and still loose body fat. You can also easily incorporate treats.

Why does it feel unfair that your friends are on WLI? It doesn’t affect you in any way.
