Crepey skin on thighs and bum after losing weight

Hi all,

I’ve recently lost four stones and have developed very crepey, saggy skin on my bum and thighs as a result.

Does anyone know of any cosmetic (non surgical) treatments that might improve this? I am exercising and have continued to do so throughout my weight loss.

Thanks

I don’t but I’m in the same position. I’m mostly okay about it tbh, I’ve done strength training and tried to keep really active throughout but I’ve got a wrinkly flat pancake bum that seems to just have fallen down and now wrinkles at the top of my legs!
my stomach is also pretty wrinkly now but with the right swimwear carefully chosen it’s okay. It’s the only time my body is out anyway so I don’t have to see it that often.
How bothered are you about it? Genuine question, I swim a lot and I’m genuinely not really bothered about it but if you’re feeling insecure I’m not sure there is anything non cosmetic that can be done - hopefully someone will be along to share.
What I will say, 6.5 stone down now, at my target and have been maintaining for a good few months (still on WLI and intend to be for as long as they’ll let me have them) is that I don’t think it looks as noticeable anymore. I know the skin isn’t going to shrink back completely, it took a decade
to stretch and it’s not going just snap back but I do think it’s firmed up slightly with a rigorous exercise regime and lots of hydration.

Same situation with my bum and legs! I’m not massively bothered about the sagginess but the wrinkliness bothers me more. What kind of exercises are you doing for your bum area?
Amazing to have lost 6.5 stone - well done!
