Helping my friend

My DH and I have a good friend.

He’s 59 and probs 3 stone overweight. 5.8 and 14/15 stone.

He’s a widower as lost his wife suddenly a few years ago to cancer.

He wants to lose weight so he has the confidence to date. He’d like to do the injection thing but doesn’t know how to get started. He can afford it.

Ideally he’d see someone face to face (he’s in Brighton) to support him but I guess it all has to be done online.

We want to help him but are clueless.

Please can anyone advise?

It doesn't have to be done online. I get my MJ in person from a local independent pharmacy. He may not get the same discounts/referral codes as people get by bouncing around online suppliers but if money isn't a big issue then he can prioritise being seen in person (my reasons were entirely practical due to the unreliability of courier deliveries making it to my house, but I did like the monthly face to face contact in the early days). So you could start by googling pharmacies which advertise weight loss clinics near where he is.
