What kind of excersize for the active but unfit and fat???

am on the go all day every day as a childminder doing at least 2 school runs(there and back) and on 3 days 3 school runs..plus walks to groups, libraries, softplay, aprk,town and so on..

Started diet/cutting down alst week and have done well, but other than walking what else would help?, i dont get a lots of time i often work till8pm and start 6.30am..but need to do something to help with loss to tone up particulary arms, legs stomache?

Oh I'm with you there as a fellow childminder - trouble is the school run is pretty slow isn't it?! 5 year olds only walk so fast.

Sit ups in the evening for the duration of one song. Get some weights and do arm raises and tricep exercises for the same duration.

Can you do a a plank? Thats a great exercise for toning stomach muscles, its a killer, Google it.

if you did short bursts of these evry single night I bet you'd see a difference in no time.

I go on my stepper, PC not tonight it is too hot

Plus by using low carb/SW red-type of diet I devised myself I have lost 35lbs since january.

Bloody hell Ju thats fantastic!...i tend to follow sw, but i prefer the green days am ALWAYS hungry on red...but thats amaising!..i have cindy crawford vid and ts fab, but wanted to try something new and effective?..dont have a stepper, would feel a div walking up and downs tairs

ah so thats why you asked about the tabs the other day!..i never imagined you as being overwieght!..quite tall, slim with glossy dark shoulder lengh hair for some reason????LOL..Youve done a fab job, just hope i can folow suit

For my upper body (which is very weak and feeble) my trainer makes me do modified push ups. Put your hands on the edge of the kitchen counter, move your feet a pace back (so that you are leaning forward to keep your hands on the counter). Keep your waist/back and legs straight, and bending your arms go forward until your chest touches the counter, then straighten your arms, let your elbows bend outwards rather than downwards. Do 3 sets of 15. It's a good one to do when you're waiting for the kettle to boil.

So 5 ft 7 blonde long straight hair, side parting, trendy-mummy stylee with graduated fringe. And you wear long swishy skirts and sweet sandals with pink nail polish

try doing a bit of yoga, you can borrow a dvd from the library!

Also has anyone ever tried belly dancing?
