No idea how active you are, so it's hard to say what, if any, calorie deficit you'd be in given your BMR of 1480. Presumably the numbers on the top of each bar are your calorie totals for the day?

One week isn't necessarily going to show you any progress, I'd be wanting to look at how you are doing over 4 weeks or so.

NearlyDec · 09/11/2025 12:03

Are you drinking enough water and going to the toilet for a poo regularly?

Frenchfrychic · 09/11/2025 12:06

You’re likely logging your cals wrong and eating to maintenance., however a week is nothing.

JackieGoodman · 09/11/2025 12:20

Agree with @SilenceInside 1 week isn't nearly enough. And you dont seem to be in any calorie deficit so I wouldn't expect you to lose weight. Isn't the average of all those days more than your BMR?

fourelementary · 09/11/2025 12:22

Your Sunday last week is feeding you this week as it was well over. Don’t weigh for another few weeks and have more days like Thursday and Saturday. Not too low but not too high?

Giraffemug30 · 09/11/2025 12:30

Your average calories are 1800 a day, which is likely your maintenance

Musicaltheatremum · 09/11/2025 12:53

Yes you've eaten too much this week. Average calories are 1800 a day. So you would just maintain this week. If your BMR is 1400 then you have not been in calorie deficit this week. Keep following the good days next week and you should see a difference

NoTouch · 09/11/2025 20:51

Chart (last column) says your average calories are 1684

you say your BMR is 1480. Assuming you are sedentary your TDEE will be 1776

So your daily deficit is <100 calorIes. At that rate it will take over 5 weeks to lose a pound.

Is 32% protein keto?

SlothMama14 · 10/11/2025 12:58

You're not in a big enough daily deficit for the rest of the week because of how many calories you consumed on the Sunday.

MaDugsAFud · 10/11/2025 13:01

Thanks everybody, I’ve been a pig, was my birthday last Sunday…
appreciate the reality check x

Sorry, OP, I'm not of much help to you, but this comment did make me laugh Grin

mamagogo1 · 10/11/2025 13:14

At 1500 calories a day I do not loose weight, very annoying! Even with daily admittedly light exercise, park run, and a medium impact class each week I still was plateauing, needed to drop to 1200 calories to loose which is difficult to maintain. I’m now content with my larger size and seem to be steady at 1600 calories at this size

Mysticmaiden · 10/11/2025 21:26

My BMR is 1290, my tdee to maintain is 1530 and my deficit is 1030. I eat approx 900-1200 a day and I lost 5lbs last month. Today I hit 953 cals and 85g protein, the more protein, the fuller you will feel and the more muscle.you will maintain when losing weight. If you are doing keto, that's good but your carbs are still high for the week.
3.5k cals for 1 day is a lot, though I can understand it was your birthday and you wanted to celebrate. The rest of the week aim for 1200-1300 cals max.
I was 42 when I started my weight loss journey in Oct 24 and weighed 13st, my deficit was 1300 max a day. It then went to 1200 when I was 11st. Might be worth using tdeecalculator.net to check your figures but bear in mind that we are all different and consistency is key. Last Xmas day I had 1000 cals! I could have gone all out but the bigger long goal was and is more important to me. I'm now bmi 22.9 9st 3lbs. I've declined takeaways and pasta for over a year. No alcohol either and can count on one hand biscuits and cakes that I've had in that time. Like I say consistency and it will be worth it in the long run.
