Big tummy jogger needs leggings recommendations please!

Recently started "running" three times a week with a lovely bunch of ladies. Unfortunately I spend most of my lap around the park pulling up my leggings.
I'm built like a jacket potato on cocktail sticks. Muscular legs, big tummy.
So I need some leggings that will see me through winter runs (we run at 7am!) and stay up keeping my gut covered!
Any suggestions?

I like gym shark although they aren’t technically runners leggings. I like the really tight waistband, high waist kind. I never need pockets because they make you run weird on one side if your phone is in there, I use a front vest holder if I’m taking my phone. This hugely increases your options for styles as well.

Thank you, I'll check those out.
Yes, I don't keep thing in my leggings pocket as that is just asking for slippage!

I once had some Ron hill ones with a drawstring, but they were an odd non stretchy but tight material with thick seams, I saw myself from behind in them in a shop window once and could never wear them again, they were dreadful. But drawstring waist is also a good idea if you want them to hold up. I really don’t like the feel of the leg falling down so I wear shorts all year round except for the depths of winter

I wear shapewear giant pants when I run, then whatever leggings/joggers

Try yoga leggings with the fold down top, only don’t fold it down. Then wear a pair of running shorts over them

Halara high-waisted, tummy control leggings are brilliant! You can often get them on offer from Halara or on Tiktok shop. Highly recommend. They stay up for an hour game of netball so running would be fine 🙂

h&m sports leggings, I think the ribbed ones, are excellent

Lidl’s have been great for me - they have some on Sunday I think, I’ve got three different types so far and found them better than most of the more expensive ones.

I like Stronger, especially the ones with colourful patterns. They have very high waist and a pocket at the back of the waist - brilliant for keeping a phone, keys and other small things. They are comfortable, no weird seams and similar.

If you're still looking, I highly recommend the Apple Shape leggings or Maternity depending on how big your stomach is from TLC:

The high waist range is excellent, I find it supports my core and back well and it will be great for the winter. Admittedly I find them too hot in summer and resort to the shorter waist style for warmer weather but for winter I really recommend the high waisted version. I have varicose veins and cellulite and their leggings make me feel comfortable and look good, holds me in and supports my back and circulation. They are worth the price and aren't see through, they wash well but make sure you airdry them. I've returned for a refund with no issues, they are a good family company. If you need fitting advice look on their page or contact them.
