Who would eat more vegetables if it was less faff and time preparing and cooking when you want/need some at short notice and/or feed your children vegetables with less of the eeuugghh ?

What?

Broccoli, frozen peas, frozen sweetcorn all involve no more prep than heating up baked beans, for example, and are widely liked by kids.

I like veg in principle but I find them hard to eat, it’s odd because I do actually like them. If I organise myself to cook soup then that helps, plus I’m a Sunday I try to do loads extra and add them to all my meals, they are so much nicer when cooked fresh than frozen. My October goal is to have half a plate of veg with my evening meal every night 🥕

I cheat by using prepared veg. I get the 3 for 2 offer from Tesco and all sorts of chopped veg and all you have to do is put them in the microwave with a bit of water or boil on the stove or my favourite toss in a bit of olive oil and season and in the oven for 30 minutes. I get about 7-10 serving of veg a day.
