They’re very different things. I haven’t tried Slimpod but they claim that in a clinical trial 95% of people lost weight and the average weight lost was 18lbs. It’s obviously not got any medical risks as it’s just listening to a podcast and behaviour changes.

Mounjaro is a prescription medication that comes with some risks, but it has been shown to produce significant weight loss in clinical trials. 22% of starting weight on average. It’s also expensive, a lot more than the Slimpod subscription.

Do you have a lot of weight to lose? Have you tried things like Slimpod before and been successful or found them unhelpful?

I’m doing both. I’m actually losing weight since starting Mounjaro. Slimpod does seem to make a difference day to day, but I’m only really doing it to keep the brain on track while MJ actually takes the weight off. Hopefully Slimpod will have helped me change my brain by the time I come off MJ.

Theyre very different things. Slimpod is a one off payment of like £30, for a start!

Do you have a hungry brain or a hungry gut? I think that will help you decide. I seemingly have both 😂

I actually seem to have both.
Im 15 stone and 5 foot 6 with grotesqly large cartoon character like breasts ,im a 34k . Ive tried slimming world off and on for years but ive lost motivation and can't face any more muller lights etc.
Im going through loads of problems at the moment which i tend to emotionally eat sugar

I’ve tried slimpod, it can work, though they say you do nt need to follow a ‘diet’ but I think it works best if you have a good eating plan to follow so the recordings help you to stay on track.

The Facebook group is batshit crazy. It’s like a cult, you are not allowed to question anything or say anything less than 100% positive/pro slimpod. It’s insane. if you have a question about why it might not be working the moderators will tell you off.

im on Mounjaro, it works really well.
