Switching to Wegovy

I was currently between 5. & 7.5mg of mounjaro and now doing the switch.

has anyone started on 1.0 of the wegovy from mounjaro dose, I have had a couple of weeks break from mounjaro.

No I haven’t yet but I am looking to.
I can’t afford the new prices (I could only just afford the old prices with a lot of penny watching) so am thinking of switching to Wegovy.

I only have about 9kg/20lbs left to lose and am trying to work out if I should just try and go the last bit alone as the overall effectiveness of Wegovy is apparently not quite up there with MJ.

Im a bit torn and I know that doesn’t answer your question but I’m in a similar boat.

It’s rubbish these prices, they’ve no idea what it will do to people mentally either, a lot of people rely on them for that extra wee push and struggle to lose weight consistently.
Me being one of them.

I’ll be happy if it just reduces the food noise but I’m hearing the side effects are worse on wegovy. I was lucky with mounjaro, just a bit nausea at the very start but happy with the weight loss. Still would like to lose a few more stone

I didn’t suffer any apart from mild constipation but I found as long as had some salad every day I was ok. I have gone ahead and ordered the Wegovy and am waiting for it to be reviewed so fingers crossed.

yeah constipation was another side effect, but I get what you mean with the salad lol
I’m just waiting on mine being reviewed, I was with juniper but I’m trying that medexpress. Impatient waiting 😆

Delivered I meant! It arrived and is in the fridge. I’ve got one more shot in my MJ pen to do tonight then once I’m allowed to start Wegovy that’ll be it 🤷🏼‍♀️

That’s great! Unfortunately I’ve had to cancel with that place and go back to my original provider but I’ve been told I can switch to wegovy.

cant wait to start this weight loss journey again.

If anyone is still watching I am now on wegovy and have noticed no difference. I experienced no side effects on mj apart from mild constipation at times.
I am currently day 5 on wegovy and nothing to note. Suppression is the same.
will see on Monday what I have lost this week BUT I am on my period so am expecting nothing. Not a good week really to try and compare. 😖

Hi I went from mounjaro to wegovy last August, after getting within 26 lbs of my goal weight. I lost 4.1/2 stone in one year on mounjaro . Now another year later and using wegovy it has only maintained my weight, I am really annoyed at the cost and the poor results. I went back on to mounjaro 2 months ago and I
sm starting to lose again. I am once again having to go through all the doses’ which is annoying, I am just ordering 10 mg. today I feel I have wasted lots of money on wegovy, it did not stop food noise for me. So I would rather pay the extra ( by making big sacrifices) in order to finish the journey. Good luck what ever you do, hopefully one day these prices will come down drastically and help people who really need to reduce their weight.
