Have 2 stone to lose at 5’8 11stone 10lb. How long did it take you to lose this much through diet and exercise?

Maybe a year? I was 10.5 stone after having my daughter in May 24 and by July 25 I was 8.5 stone.

Ideally it is 1 to 2 pounds per week. Looking at the lower end of that, 1lb a week, 14 lb in a stone, so 14 weeks for one stone, 28 weeks for 2. And 28 weeks is just over six months.

But obviously if you lose 2 lbs per week it’s 14 weeks or just over three months.

A friend of mine has lost 2.5stone since Jan of this year. Using Nutracheck & calorie counting honestly. Has one day off it each week, long walk each weekend.

I've lost 3 stone since this time last year, with Nutracheck calorie counting.

It took me around 1.5-2 years to lose 2 stone. Another year to lose a third stone. Thankfully I’m now nearly at my target weight of 9 stone 6 now.

I’m short though and it can be harder for shorter women to lose weight as our maintenance calorie allowance is already quite low in most cases unless we are athletes or super active. So it makes doing a calorie deficit more challenging.

I’ve noticed my friends who are tall tend to lose weight quicker.

On the flipside though 2 stone weight loss is more visible on me than a taller woman.
