Realistic weight loss by Christmas?

I started my diet yesterday Grin I’m on 1500 calories and 10000 steps a day with 2x 45 min gym sessions a week. 5’8, 12 stone. What would be a realistic weight target for Christmas?☺️

1 to 2 pounds a week, so somewhere around 18 to 36 pounds.

I have similar stats to you, I'm 5ft7" and 11st 10lbs, and I'm aiming to be 10st 7lb by Christmas. I'm determined to get there. I lost 7kgs in 2024 and then I haven't shifted anymore weight since Oct 2024. I'm hoping for one last push this year to get to my goal for 2026. Good luck to you!

Half a pound to a pound per week is a realistic goal with your starting weight.

Honestly though, you're better off setting yourself achievable daily goals related to food and movement and focusing on hitting those rather than an arbitrary weight number that you want to hit in an arbitrary amount of time. Process goals over outcome goals.

It's fine to have an idea of where you want to get to but you'll make more progress by focusing on HOW you will get there.

ETA I wish you every success!!
