When should I start my injections

I've got my first pen ready however I'm wondering when would be best to start. I'm going out on Friday for dinner as it's our anniversary and was planning on injecting when I get home. Is this sensible?

Some, not all, people respond quickly to the medication so best not to have a large meal prior to avoid possible unpleasant side effects such as nausea.

If your anniversary meal is going to be light, no problem, if it is a rich, heavy meal perhaps better to wait a day or so.

It's a tapas style but not overly rich. I'll maybe wait till the Saturday evening then to be on the safe side!

I'd do Saturday evening. I find my side affects hit 24 hours after, just a bit of nausea, but I've bern taking it for a long time so starting out might be different for you

I would wait until Saturday.

It's super easy to do, don't get me wrong, but late in the evening after a celebratory/romantic meal is probably not the best moment to be reading instructions and fiddling about with the pen for the first time. 😬
