Saw this quote from a poet that really hit me"Maybe the moon is beautiful only because it is far."
It made me think about how we treat our goals espeecially with weight loss. We have this perfect 'future you' in our heads like its the moon so beautiful and so far away. And looking at it just makes u feel bad about where you are right now.
But what if u stopped looking at the moon and started appreciating the ground ur on???
I know people who stopped waiting for the 'after' photo to be happy. They started focusing on what their body could do today and just tried to respect it. Taking care of yourself gets a lot easier when you dont hate the person you're taking care of. The goal isn't to chase a distant moon its to love the person you are on the journey there
