Champagne while dieting

I tried adding champagne in my fitness pal / checking online but it has various results. Anyone know if this is ok to drink as part of weight loss journey?

yes I know no alcohol is better but thinking it must be better than cocktails etc?

Hi OP. Nutracheck says a 125ml (flute) of champagne is about 100kcal. So if you drink it, enjoy it and that’s what you want, you can absolutely have some when watching what you’re eating. Especially if you’re calorie counting.
plus you’re more likely to stick to it any plan if you have a bit of what you fancy.

Thank you! I keep seeing that as an option and that it is better than MFP. yes I’m ok with not snacking etc, learned to control that eventually haha just wondering how “bad” it is.

thank you so much! Feel a bit better

Just like some treats and this would be mine so telling myself it’s “ok” in the scheme of cal counting - which I do

You still need to live life! Enjoy that glass of bubbly.

This is very AbFab of you 🤣

But yes - enjoy your bubbly! I think it would be on the lower end of calories in terms of drinks. I can see anywhere from 95 to 170 depending on how sweet it is!

It's fine if you factor it in to your weight loss journey. In fact, you are more likely to succeed if you don't deny yourself things you enjoy.
