How to stay in deficit at 3 day festival?

Im going to a festival soon and I’d like to stay as close to being in a deficit as possible.

any tips on how I can do this? My friends are big eaters and I don’t want to be seen as the one who hardly eats or drinks anything.

I would still like to have ice cream and a couple drinks etc. Your tips are appreciated

I would take it off and assume all the steps and dancing would counteract the extra calories, accept that salty food etc would mean a jump on the scales, then get right back on it as soon as I got back.

But if I wanted to stay in a deficit I would skip breakfast and then have a huel or similar later on from a cool bag, stick to low calorie booze and a healthy ish option as my main meal

Agree with first post. Fast for breakfast at least, have a snack/share a portion for lunch then a normal dinner.

We don't know what food options you have though, or what kind of diet you are eating to be in deficit now.

If there are healthier options there then great. Some salad with halloumi or falafel or kebab. Burger with no bun or chips, hogroast without bun or sauce etc etc.

Another option, take tones of fruit with you to snack on instead of breakfast or lunch. Drink lots of water. For booze go for spirits with soda rather then cocktails/beer or avoid alcohol entirely as it will make it harder to resist food.

Can you have a lower cal few days before and after so over a week it balances? I'd also say fast early on in the day but relax in the evening a bit.

Drink a sugar free Red Bull and go crazy with the dancing.

I did this for four days straight at a festival a few years ago and came back 1.5 lbs lighter!
