Mounjaro Side Effects

I have been using Mounjaro for 5 weeks and have lost 9 lbs which I am pleased about. My starting weight was 13 stone and would like to get to a target weight of 10 stone, which would put me at a nice BMI of 22. What I am struggling with is how tired and exhausted I feel on the drug. My energy levels are very low and feel too weary to exercise etc. Has anybody else taking Mounjaro experienced the same? And any tips for improving the tiredness? Thank you…

I’m no expert I’m just learning myself, but I wonder if u only need 2.5 currently ??

How many calories are you eating, and how many are you using up in a day? What percentage comes from protein?

I know the temptation is to get the weight off as quickly as possible and that can be through suppression or extreme dieting but, if you don’t have enough basic energy from your food to meet your BMR, you’ll likely continue to be tired.

TBH I don’t keep a record of what I am eating etc, but certainly not starving myself to get slim. Can anyone recommend a free app to track my progress on? Thanks

I've accepted that while I'm on Mounjaro (very nearly goal weight) I'm going to feel exhausted!

I've been on it for over 2 months now and I only start feeling OK from day 4 after injecting.

My side effects have been minimal but I'm looking forward to chucking the last pen in the bin quite frankly!

I felt very tired for the first 2-3 days after jabbing, for around the first 6 months.

I’m now 9 months in and don’t feel tired at all.

I use nutricheck app. It'd recommend using some form of app to track food and also make sure u are having enough protein. Think its something like 10% of what you want to lose. But double check

I use Cronometer. It’s quite comprehensive on the free version including a barcode scanner. It’s been enlightening for me.
