Just that really. I’m 45 and what to start some weight training at home. I have some dumbbells now but don’t know where to start. Definitely looking for beginners level. Thanks!

Following for recommendations too. I have some pretty light weights and bought some ankle weights and resistance bands, but have no idea where to start with them! Figured I can use them in the evening while watching TV instead of mindlessly snacking.

Not what you asked specifically but I love the peloton strength classes. You can sign up for the app which is cheaper than the full membership you need with the bike. They also have barre yoga meditation stretch walking running etc classes.

When I first started, I did the regimen in this You Tube video.

Two years on, I have just bought a barbell, so that I can lift heavier. I am finding at home work outs work very well for me, as I can fit my workouts in whenever. If you purchase more dumbbells, I would recommend a small rack to keep them all organised out of the way.
Enjoy!
