Which has lower calories?

I’m trying to be good and keep off sugar and low fat. So far after 6 weeks I’ve lost 11lbs.
As a family we have a treat meal on a Saturday which is usually a Chinese takeaway. My usual choice is chicken curry with egg fried rice but recently I’ve gone with the chicken chow mein. With a pot of curry sauce. I feel this is a healthier (if possible) lower calorie meal and there’s a lot of it. Am I right?

Chow mein is usually quoted as one of the healthier Chinese meals but in reality it can be extremely oily - I think boiled rice amd something like beef and broccoli would be similar if not healthier

Probably the chow mein, but do you enjoy it?

A smaller portion of your usual or substituting the egg rice for boiled could be similar.

As long as I have the curry sauce I really enjoy it
